The Quran Memorization Board of Nour al-Hikma was established in 2020 by the decision of the Supreme Council and is directly affiliated with the General Directorate of Education of Nour al-Hikma. The primary responsibility of this group is to supervise Quran memorizers and work towards enhancing their skills and knowledge through continuous evaluation, seminars, and special courses.
Nour al-Hikma currently has over 220 Quran memorizers, encompassing both men and women, spread across all its branches and sections. The management of the Quran Memorization Group has appointed several representatives and divided them into several zones according to the geographical distribution of the institution’s branches and sections, with the aim of maintaining close and effective communication between the Quran memorizers and the management.
1-Managing Quran Review Circles
Every Quran memorizer of the institution, after completing the entire Quran memorization, fills out a special form and joins the Quran review circles. These circles are held at different levels, with each level having its specific daily and weekly review requirements. The memorizers perform their reviews under the management of a supervisor.
2-Conducting Quran Memorizer Evaluations
At the end of each Gregorian year, the Quran Memorization Group conducts evaluations for the memorizers through the High Evaluation Committee. Those who pass, receive a special certificate, and a prestigious ceremony is held to honor and reward them.
3-Organizing the Nour al-Hikma Ceremony for Quran Memorizers
This annual ceremony is organized for the Quran memorizers who pass the evaluations. Thanking God for this achievement, so far, four Nour al-Hikma ceremonies have been held:
4-Ramadan of the Quran memorizer Project
This annual project is conducted during the holy month of Ramadan, where Quran memorizers are given a special program for reviewing and completing the Quran, reading a selected book, and attending several specialized lectures on Quranic interpretation and the principles of the Holy Quran.
5-The 1-day Complete Quran Recitation Project
This project is conducted annually, during which the Quran memorizers strive to complete the recitation of the entire Holy Quran in one day.
